The Funding Section is responsible for coordinating efforts to meet the nearly $400,000 annual operating budget of the BFC. Our mission is to ensure that the BFC can maintain and expand its services, and our team does so through grant writing, communications, event planning, and community engagement. Our ideal candidate is someone who is self-driven, has a strong sense of commitment, and who believes in the BFC mission of "Healthcare for People, Not Profit." Much of the Funding Section’s work is done remotely, requiring self-accountability and consistent phone/email communication with co-volunteers.
