TB Testing Services Section

Tuberculosis (TB) testing is the Berkeley Free Clinic’s most requested service. The BFC TB Testing Services (TTS) helps to meet those requests by providing TB (PPD) skin tests, setting up free blood (Quantiferon) tests, and helping our clients navigate follow-up care after a positive result.

We approach this need from the perspective of mutual aid–we are providing support to our fellow community members as an act of solidarity. Our goal is to create a resource that facilitates the holistic needs of our community not only through affordable and accessible TB testing, but also by supporting our clients through follow-up care after a positive result. Our work and section are deeply integrated with the BFC as a whole and we love working to facilitate the equitable distribution of healthcare.
