How's your breath?

Silent hypoxia, a condition when blood oxygen levels are very low but are not perceived by the patient, is one of the latest symptoms in patients with active COVID-19. Exercise and mindfulness can help increase blood oxygen levels. Try the 4-7-8 breathing technique to connect to your body and keep in your backpocket during moments of anxiety: 

  • Inhale for 4 seconds; hold your breath for 7 seconds; and exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat 4 times.
